On the left side you will see a list of the species that we keep. If you click on a name, the site will take you to a (dutch) description of this species, and pictures of our breedinggroups.

The Amazon

Our stingrays are freshwater stingrays from the Amazon. The river is about 6300km long and starts at 6km height in the Andes. It flows through Brazil towards the Atlantic Ocean. The largest tributary of the Amazon is the Rio Negro (Black river).
